Contract Infrastructure Operations Analyst

Initial 2-week contract
As a trusted, approved and preferred recruitment partner to this well-known chartered accountant firm, we have been asked to assist in the recruitment of a contract Infrastructure Operations Analyst to support the infrastructure and operational environments of the business (Network Infrastructure, Network Administration, ITIL Management, Service Desk) for an initial two-week period.
Skills / Environment
- Provide BAU 3rd Line Technical Infrastructure Support
- Act as point of escalation for Infrastructure Incidents given by the Service Desk
- Mentor, Coach and Assist junior members in the Service Desk Team
- Monitor the health of Infrastructure Systems
- Improving the monitoring of systems
- Administer Corporate Infrastructure (Active Directory, LAN, Internet Access Firewalls, Exchange, Office 365)
- Monitor, Troubleshoot and Resolve Server and Network Performance
- Administer and Manage the Backup and Replication Solution
- Maintain Operational Documentation
Technical Experience Required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012R2/2016 including clustering
- Knowledge of PowerShell
- Knowledge of VMware vSphere 6.5+ in an enterprise environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server 2010+\Exchange Online
- Knowledge Citrix Presentation/XenApp/XenDesktop 7.15
- Knowledge/experience of troubleshooting networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and vLANs
- Knowledge of backup and replication systems (preferably CommVault and VMWare SRM)
- Knowledge of Office 365\Azure
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7+\Windows 10
- Knowledge of SQL Server 2014+
- Understanding of VOIP
- MSCA/MCSE/MCITP: Enterprise Administrator or Server Administrator or equivalent IT qualifications an advantage
