Join our client’s team as a Senior UX Designer and embark on an exciting journey to create exceptional user experiences in the messaging and archiving space for compliance. This is an opportunity to tackle challenging problems and make a significant impact on customers' lives.
As a UX Designer, the individual will be the advocate for users throughout the entire product management cycle. From understanding the context and framing the problems to delivering meaningful solutions, they will champion the needs of customers. Collaborating with stakeholders, UI designers, and developers, they will conduct research, design innovative solutions, and ensure seamless delivery.
Responsibilities:
• Be the voice of customers, gaining deep insights into their work and the challenges they face
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product management to develop effective approaches, going beyond mere requirement gathering
• Apply research techniques proactively, tailored to each unique problem
• Conceptualize, prototype, validate, and refine design solutions
• Communicate designs to developers in an agile software development environment
• Create sketches, flows, wireframes, and other design artifacts
• Utilize metrics to drive product management decisions and measure success
• Guide and coach fellow designers and non-designers, fostering their design thinking abilities
• Work with a diverse team, utilizing modern tools
Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience in user experience design for web, desktop, or mobile applications
• A portfolio showcasing their UX process and the impact it has had on products that people love (Rationale needed on Portfolio).
• Proficiency with a variety of tools and a willingness to adapt to new ones as needed
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic environment
• Excellent understanding of web technologies
• Empathy, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to learn about compliance in finance
• Experience in an enterprise business environment is a definite asset
