As a flexible Deployment and Automation Engineer, you will help design, implement and support automated, scalable solutions to ensure reliable, secure, and high-quality code is built and smoothly deployed.
To give you an idea of how this DevOps Engineer role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
Monitor and ensure smooth operation of production and test environments by building dynamic dashboards and alerting rulesets
Develop junior/intermediate engineers to maximise their potential and impact
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and find opportunities to automate their requirements early in the development lifecycle
Share your knowledge and solutions within the DevOps community
To apply for this Deployment and Automation role, you will need a minimum of four years of experience applying DevOps practices and implementing solutions using Python, Java, shell scripting, Linux. You will also require the following:
Experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLabCI, CircleCI, TravisCI
Experience using container and container platform technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience in mentoring and supporting other DevOps engineers
Experience working in a microservice-oriented environment.
