Senior Java Developer – Microservices, Spring boot
Base in the region of £70k + Bonus
Work from home / Basildon. Fully remote for now.

Our client is one of the leading global consultancies and a need has a risen for a number of Senior Java Microservices / Spring Boot developers.

This team have significant experience developing cutting-edge solutions for Integration and Process Management across industries, they use the most appropriate tools and techniques covering
1. Digital Integration (SMAC Integration, API Management, IoT Integration)
2. Intelligence and Insights (BAM, Complex Event Processing, BRMS, Real-Time Analytics)
3. Business Process Management (BPMS, BPA)
4. Enterprise Integration (ESB, EAI, SOA)
5. Partner Management (B2B, MFT)

Skills and Experience needed:

• Overall 6+ experience in IT and over 4+ experience in Java/Spring boot.
• Hands on project experience in building microservices using Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud(optional).
• Experience on a cloud based platform (AWS/GCP/Azure) for deploying microservices
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (eg Docker) and container orchestration (eg Kubernetes).
• Experience in using a messaging system (eq: JMS based systems, Kafka).
• Experience in defining configuration approaches microservices in multiple environments (eq: Spring Cloud Config, Consul, etc)
• Experience in using a RDBMS.
• Knowledge of a No SQL database.

Responsibilities:
• Build and configure Java/Spring Boot Microservice Applications to meet business process and application requirements.
• Excellent knowledge of Java programming concepts
• Analyse High Level Design Documents
• Prepare/Involve in Low Level Design activities
• Code delivery
• Review Unit/Integration Test Cases
• Review System Test Case preparation and System Testing
• Prepare Deployment Guide, Release Notes
• Attend Defect Triage Calls
• Co-ordinate code deployment
